My parents, Donald Edward Guest and Agnes Elcox Guest (nee Ralston), are both deceased. Mum left several boxes of information and photos about these families and others. She was very proud of the fact that her ancestors came to Tasmania under their own sail power in the Amity and that Don's family was so well respected in the Evandale area of Tasmania, a place where I was raised with my brothers Peter and Michael (dec).

When I retired, I had time to do something with this material. It is my first effort at genealogy and will undoubtedly contain mistakes. I have not verified all the sources of information at this stage but intend to do so. I will gladly remove photos if there are valid objections.

Not knowing where to start, I have concentrated on my direct ancestors and have left the detail of some other branches for another day soon, hopefully with your help. This will be an ongoing project so look for regular Updates or join a Facebook Group (See above).
